Coaching Zoom Etiquette
Just a few important tips for helping your fellow members accomplish great learning on these weekly Zoom video conference coaching calls.
To avoid being booted off (yikes!) any weekly Zoom call by the administrators, please follow these simple etiquette guidelines:
1. Be prepared well before your first call.
Download the zoom application on your device (phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop) and take the time to learn the settings. Make sure your microphone, speaker, and video are functioning. If needed, do a practice call with a friend days or even weeks before the call. Please: be prepared.
2. Be respectful of the learning environment.
This is a classroom, with fellow students from all over the world. If you are moving around, or your camera is being jostled, the classroom will see that movement. If your background is noisy, the classroom will hear you, and that will distract the teacher and students. Please keep your camera and microphone OFF if you're in such an environment.
3. You absolutely must know how to self-mute and turn off your video feed before joining the group cleansing coaching call.
IT IS OKAY if you need to travel, commute, or move, or eat, or take care of kids, or pet your animals, or hold your phone while jogging, or deal with other distractions while on our weekly cleansing. But ONLY if your mic and video are off.
